Rooted in Partnership: Celebrating Our Customers with the EngFlow Customer Forest

As a thank you for our customers’ incredible support, we launched the Customer Forest Initiative. Throughout the 2024 holiday season, we planted trees on behalf of our customers, as an expression of our gratitude. The Customer Forest represents shared progress and growing stronger together.

We wanted a gift that truly reflected the value of our partnerships and the impact we can achieve together. Planting trees was the perfect choice, symbolizing growth, connection, and our shared commitment to a better future with our customers.

Why trees? A Gift with Roots

We’re a globally distributed team with a unique structure, including entities in the US, Germany, Switzerland, and Colombia. We embrace the diverse perspectives that come from our varied cultural backgrounds. This global perspective has shown us that certain actions, like planting trees, hold profound meaning.

In Colombia, planting trees traditionally signifies building communities and establishing a foundation. German forests are deeply embedded in ancient mythology, representing strength, resilience, and an enduring spirit. In the United States, trees evoke a pioneering spirit and opportunity. And in Switzerland, trees are seen as symbols of stability and longevity.

Beyond these cultural connections, trees carry a universal importance. Across the world, they represent growth, connection, renewal, and practicality. They provide resources and foster a sense of interconnectedness. The Customer Forest Initiative was motivated by this shared value and a desire to give back to our clients in a meaningful way.

Planting Our Customer Forest

Driven by this vision, we decided to plant trees around the world, in our customers' names. We began in Germany, where EngFlow first took root. This provided a meaningful start on our journey to create a strong and enduring connection – both with our customers and with the environment. 

Planted in mid-February, the trees are currently being nurtured by the Evertreen team. They ensure the trees are strong enough to thrive in their forever location in the Höchstein Gipfel area. As part of the German Timberland Reforestation Initiative, our customers' trees will contribute to a larger mission of regenerating critical ecosystems in Germany. We’re proud to be making a difference with our customers, one tree at a time!

Growing Together: Celebrating Our Partnerships

The Customer Forest represents our dedication to building lasting relationships. As a welcome bonus, this initiative also supports the environment. Our customers' trees positively impact local wildlife by creating habitats and helping restore the balance of nature. Each tree contributes to a healthier planet, with our customer forests soaking up carbon and improving soil quality.

To date, this initiative has contributed to reducing over 31.50 tons of CO2 emissions, supported reforestation in Germany, and created more than 4.38 working hours for the local community. We’re grateful for our customers' partnership in making this possible.
